The Impact Pricing Strategy

I want to share with you is called the Impact Pricing Strategy. This is where you price your membership at a low cost so you can impact more people.

Pricing your membership at a very low investment is done with the intent to get as many people as possible to sign up for your coaching program. This strategy focuses on maximizing the breadth, not the depth, of your membership.

By creating a low barrier to entry, the Impact Pricing Strategy allows you to serve as many people as possible.

This might not be the right strategy for everyone.

It’s really best for those wanting to put out a message to a broad audience, and possibly use it as a way to later up-level members into a high-ticket membership offer.

The goal is often mission driven for coaches in this situation. Having a low price assists you to expand your mission.

When I was President of Church Leader Insights, we had a coaching program called “The Renegade Pastor.” Our goal was to help pastors “abandon average.” That was our mission. We were dedicated to doing everything possible to come alongside pastors and encourage them in their ministry.

In order to accomplish that mission, we priced the coaching program at $99 per month. We knew that we would be able to reach as many pastors as possible and create a sustainable coaching program with that investment.

Currently, I have a group called Membership Accelerators Club. The goal with this group is to help as many membership and coaching businesses serve their members as possible.

I get to lay my head down at night knowing that I’m vicariously helping numerous people develop better relationships, better marriages, experience financial freedom, get healthy and so much more. All because members of the Membership Accelerators Club are out there getting and serving more members.

I price this membership low enough to attract more people so that I can have a broader impact. (But I also have a high-ticket offer.)
